The Sleep Innovations Memory Foam Classic Pillow is designed to give utmost comfort to people who sleeps on their back or on their side. It is made from the classic contour memory foam, which is very popular of its molding abilities. It has a cool blue top layer and an open cell design which facilitates in the smooth flow of air. The memory foam is also made entirely of polyurethane with an ideal 3 pound density. The foam itself molds to the curves of your head and neck which helps align your spine properly. It is also hypoallergenic which means that even people with specific medical conditions can use it. The pillow cover that comes together with it is made from pure cotton velour and can be removed and washed in a machine. It measure about 21 inches long, 14 inches wide and 5 inches high coming in with a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty.

This product was given an average of 4 stars from the customers who reviewed it. More than half of them awarded it with a 5 star, less than ten percent gave out 4 stars and a total of only about eight reviewers gave 3 stars and below.

A lot of customers were satisfied with this product but not really overwhelmed. One reviewer claimed that it is indeed comfortable as it doesn’t give her neck and back pains in the morning. Another reviewer was also surprised to find out that the memory foam indeed molds to the curve of your head and neck. The pillow itself is a bit thinner compared to those fluffy ones but still provides satisfactory comfort. One customer was happy that it was made of cotton since it doesn’t move around the pillow case and fall off like those satin-like pillows. One customer was also surprised to discover that the pillow doesn’t have an odor when the package was opened. Some memory foam pillows actually gives off a specific odor in the package and takes a couple of days to air it off.

The only downside that one customer claimed was that it was too thin compared to the ones she was used to. She didn’t get the head and neck support she wanted and even needed to pile it on top of other pillows just to have her desired elevation. She also complained a bit on the origin of the product. She had the assumption that it was made entirely from the US. The pillow is indeed made from the US but the covers are typically made from Czech Republic or Mexico, which doesn’t make a lot of difference anyway.

Based on the reviews, we would recommend this pillow to those who are used to sleeping with less elevation on their heads since the memory foam is a bit thin. It would definitely be ideal for flat sleepers. It can still be suitable for the ones who need a lot of elevation but it probably won’t give as much comfort as it would to flat sleepers.
